Film Festival Delivers

Orillia’s first annual film festival did not disappoint.  An audience of just over 300 watched 23 short films from all over the world.  “We have done a beautiful thing”, said member of the festival board of directors Chris Lusty.  Zolt Kecskemeti, an Uxbridge-based film maker in attendance said “In my viewpoint, the greatest achievement yesterday was to create that elusive and magical spirit of unity in the house. Bye Bye PSCI, Camp Kenneth and The Hard
Sell just electrified the audience”.  Organizer Tim Hillson was very pleased:  “the attendance was solid for our first year, and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves.  I think we are only going to go up from here as there was a lot of excitement in the air at the end of the show.”
